    ROSE is designed specifically for pouch and stoma reduction after gastric bypass but the same devices can be used for other surgeries as well.
    Some other uses are closure of a gastro-gastric fistula (abnormal connection from the gastric pouch to the excluded stomach after a gastric bypass) and a first-time incisionless weight loss procedure (instead of a bypass or band as you asked) called POSE we are currently studying at Bluegrass Bariatrics.
